About Us
OUR CHURCH
We are a group of Christians who came from Kerala (a southern state of India whose mother tongue is Malayalam); to Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. We initially gathered as a group for prayer and worship in early eighties. Later in 1990 December the group was institutionalized as a Church of independent existence according to a written constitution.
The Church, Christ being its head, is run by the direction of the Holy Spirit of which six permanent members constitutes the Elders Council to discuss the governing of the church and the suggestions would be introduced to the Elders Board of thirteen members which includes the Elders Council and seven elected / nominated members to approve the decisions taken thereafter.
Vision Statement
It is our aspiration to operate in the full dimension of the Scripturally-prescribed capacity of the New Testament church which is the body of Christ. As a fellowship of believers with a common faith, we seek to lead each other to a more mature relationship in Christ - to enable the spiritual growth and development of the members of the gathering. It is our commitment to work while it is still day and fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, to be a place where people genuinely interact with God in dynamic corporate worship, and are equipped to serve. It is our desire to reach the lost - to take the saving grace of gospel to a dying world.
Faith Statement
Al Ain Pentecostal Church is a church firmly rooted in the tenets of the Holy Scriptures. Since Scripture is God-breathed and it gives us every instruction for life and holiness, we rely on it as authoritative. Though we do not endeavor to provide an exhaustive list of the elements of our Faith, we below identify certain core tenets:
